My desktop kept freezing so I got help online from an acer tech. He advised me to do a system restore it have done this bit am now getting the error message windows could not complete the installation to install windows on this computer restart the installation. This has been going on for 5 hours. I have tried turning it off but when I turn it back on I get the same message. Any advice.
Without the computer model and operating system, I'm only going to be able to point you to our recovery articles in general. I would suggest attempting to restore the system from the hidden recovery partition.
