Hi
Windows Action Center keeps advising me that both Windows and Norton 360 firewalls are not turned on - but then won't let me turn them on when I try to. Also saying Norton anti-spyware & Windows Defender aren't on but won't let me turn them on.
However, Norton 360 shows that everything is turned on, backed up, protected etc. This never happened before Windows 8 upgrade. Does anyone know how to fix this or what it's about?
Thank you

I do not have any specific suggestions, but it does not look like you are the only one asking this question. You may try some of the suggestions on Norton's community thread http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Windows-

Thanks. I went there and it seems that Microsoft & Norton are supposedly working on fixing this issue that so many people have. But it's at least reassuring to know that if Norton has the green check mark, it's working, no matter what the Action Center says.
Thanks very much for directing me to the forum.
Much appreciated.
