Hi, I had the problem with no sound. so here is what I did to bring back the sound!
First if you still have your Acer Drivers DVD thats good. insert it in your laptop. and explore the files.
now go AutoRun\DRV\Realtek Audio Codec
you will find two folders the first folder is for x84 open it and run Setup.exe install it and restart.
second folder is for x64 open it and also run Setup.exe
If you don't have the DVD.
download RealTek driver for your laptop from Acer Support but make sure to download the Windows 8 version it'll work on 8.1 ![]()
This is what I got so far until they actually release a driver for 8.1.
