Are Windows 7 drivers available for an Acer Aspire E380 desktop? The Acer website has drivers only for XP and Vista. Other websites offer Windows drivers for Aspire E380. Can they be trusted? Do you recommend one? Thanks.

Acer only support what ship on system.  what driver you missing?

I'm installing WIndows 7 on a computer currently running Vista. I was advised to download the drivers for Windows 7 onto a flash drivein case there was a problem. Someone else said I should avoid the third-party sources and use the manufacturer's drivers for Vista because they use the same ones. Does that sound right?

also depends on what driver you are missing, video might be ok from nVidia or AMD or Intel
