This is my first posting on the Acer website and apologies for any glaring errors...

My P.C. is an Aspire V3-731.

My question is as shown in the 'Subject', but to expand slightly, I went to Live Updater and saw that there was an update available, named 'FIXPACK2-024 Version 11.41, size 218.11MB.

30 minutes ago I clicked on 'Install' and it has only downloaded 31% as I type.

I don't think I have any problems with internet speed etc.

Is this normal or to be expected?

Any help would be appreciated.

I started 'Live Updater' again this morning (Wednesday) and the download installed without a hitch and without delay.

Based on your second posting can we assume that your difficulty has been resolved?

Sometimes the internet is overburdened, locally or otherwise, and downloads take forever.  In that situation I do what you did - forget it and try again later.

Patience is indeed a virtue.
