Not familar with Apple produts but a picked up a 2009 Toyota Sienna and it had a Ipod adapter in it. It looked similar to the adapter end on the Iconia W510. Curious if it would work if I cut the end off the Ipod able and spliced on and solder on the W510 end would if work in using it as a chargin cord. Again unsure of the Ipod cables function if it is a reader or power charger

It also is very close to a Viewsonic G-Tab base. That doesn't fit either. The W510 uses a custom connector for the dock (dumb) and the W3 has none (dumber).
One of the things that Windows tablets in general need to compete with iPads is a standard docking connector for home, office, and car that has HDMI, USB, RJ-45, and charging port like the Malata DS-A002 for my G-Tab. (Almost fits a W510 but not).
ps iPad uses 5v (USB charger), W510 and W3 need 12v.
