V3-771G-6485 discontinued???

I've been saving up for this thing, but it seems to have disappeared from nearly every shop site. Newegg said discontinued, then out of stock then back to discontinued. It has a GF 730, which has only been out less than a few months so this model can't be that old. I like the 4GB vram, 750GB HDD and second HDD slot. A close option is i7, 500gb and 2gb vram (V3-571G-9683)

the main thing I like about these are the second hard drive slot, great for someone who does video editing and the video card for some decent gaming too.

Did acer really discontinue this 4-month old model? (along with a few others like it)?
