USB3 Express Card upgrade

My Aspire 5100 has a PC Card slot 54mm wide and 85mm deep. The laptop is USB2 but there are card adaptors claiming to upgrade to USB3 although users report not fully - maybe up to 70 Gb ps.

Has anyone successfully used them, and if so what brand? My card slot is 85 mm deep but the adaptors advertised seem to be 75mm long and would be difficult, if not impossible to remove once inserted. The eject button only pushes the inserted card out by 2 or 3 mm.

Any advice welcome
