When I type on my Aspire 7735z-4357 I am getting the wrong letters, I get letter and number combinations. How do I fix this?

Tom, there are a few different causes of this problem. Sometimes a WIndows Update does it, and you can try using a System Restore Point to correct it.

This next part is strange. One of Microsoft's best-kept secrets is that you can sometimes change your keyboard types to different areas. But they go to a lot of trouble to hide this. Try Control Panel and Keyboard. Then try Region, Language, and see if you can change the keyboard type to what you are using.

The method differs widely with different Windows Operating Systems, and although I have seen this on my current computer, it is so well-hidden that I can't find it right now.
