Mine too! After about 1 hour of gaming, the PC over-heats and just switches off. It seems the compact design does not allow for adequate air flow through the system for cooling. I've tried taking the back panel off but this doesn'y help much.

Removing the back would make it worse. You need the fast air flow for adequate cooling. I would add an out fan. If like my x3400 you dont have the conectors for an additional fan. you can buy an externaly powered one and save your psu the extra load. Hope this helps ![]()

Unfortunately the design of the Aspire Z5610 leaves no space for additional fans. I was initially very happy with my Aspire Z5610 and on the basis of my purchase, I bought a 2nd machine. Although both are used for different purposes, both overheat and cut out without warning. Definately a design fault.
The 2nd machine has also developed a hard disk propblem. With a standard "tower" PC, replacement of the hard drive is a task even an amateur can perform. Not so with an Aspire Z5610. You have to almost dismantle the whole thing to get at the hard drive. This really increasees the cost of repairs when almost everything has to be done by a professional PC repair person and the tasks take longer because of the design.
I would definately NOT purchase an all-in-one PC again.
