Sound problems in windows 7 8951G

Im having troubbles with my sound, it's a robotic sound when listening to music or watching videos, and only my right speaker is working. But the problem is only in windows, as soon as i run ubuntu or any other linux distro the problem goes away, i downloaded the sound drivers from support and the problem is still there, can any one tell me how to fix this? i guess it's a driver related problem? Running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 if that's for any help. Thanks in advance.

Obviously, as you've already eliminated the hardware as an issue, it is a software issue.
