Secondary hard drive

Hello

I have recently purchased a used aspire 6930 from a family member and am in need of some advice.

It has an additional bay for a second hdd, but i can't find any additional hookups for another drive.

I'm wondering if it is possible to install a 2 or 3 Tb hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Not finding much online as to weather or not I'd have any kind of problems with a hard drive that large or not.

Any advice that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Would also like to know if the 4gb of memory

is able to be up-graded to 8gb or not. Thank you.

The Aspire originally shipped with a number of HDD configurations. The maximum size was 320GB.

I do not know whether a larger size can be fitted.

Should you need a second HDD connector, the part number is:

20.TPK07.001

As I type, there are some currently available on eBay UK.

Your RAM is limited to 4GB.
