Screen display flicker - Aspire One AO532H

Hello all,

My netbook is about 2 years old and recently my screen started to flicker randomly. not sure if it's a hardware or software issue...any thoughts? It's maddening! Thank you...

Hey there, This could be an issue with the lighting of the room you are in and it also could be an issue with the ribbon cable. The best way to know for sure is to reload the unit to Facory OS, then test the unit outside with no artifical lighting and no extra programs added .

Thank you for the reply...what does artificial lighting do? Curious about that, I never would have thought of it...
