Reverting from 8 to Xp

I have an older Aspire 3650 that came with XP. Tried Windows 8, do not like. I have recovery disks to reinstall to XP, but I get an error on the 3rd recovery disk. Question is, how can I get a replacement recovery disk or is there a way to work around this dilema?

Jim, I'm glad that your problem got solved, but I'd like to make a suggestion. NEVER upgrade a computer designed for Windows XP. Yes, it can be done sometimes, but the technology leap in the hardware requirements is too much.

Get a working copy of windows xp or a flash drive with xp, and reinstall windows.
