Restore problem

Hi, My name is Scottee. I selected the restore option on my computer on the computer itself. I had several things that did'nt work, because of an outside source and  or virus. I get a message that says Setup is  starting services and a Install Window box with red circle white x that says Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer,restart the inatallation. Ok in this box goes to windows starting logo then back to message box.(LOOP). It appear's to me that I need to purchase a restore,  or some type of software fixfor my computer. I have Windows 7 on my computer. Ialso need to purchase McAfee anti-virus software. I am on a verry limited budget, so my decision to go forward with home computing will vary according according to purchase. I also purchased Office Home and Student 2010 and have yet to find my produt key. Thank Ypu for any help in these matters. Sincerely, [edited for privacy]

It may be possible to purchase recovery media, if you require it, from the Acer Store:

You should have a key included with your purchase of Microsoft Office, but that would not be something that we would have.  Check your packaging for a physical purchase or email if a digital purchase.
