Replace dvd drive on Aspire V5-551

Hi! An almost new laptop had an accident when the owners sister managed to break the dvd-drive. It has to be replaced and I have to find a usable replacement. This is a slim drive, and original parts costs over 106 euros and has a long delivery time as I am explained. My regular store for computerparts and likes has replacement drives, but not Acer labeled and could not tell if I could use the drives they're selling. Does anyone know if I can use a standard slim dvd drive as a replacement here?
