Hi I was looking to upgrade the RAM on my Acre aspire. Firstly IM not sure if my notebook is a Aspire 5738Z or just a 5738, it says in my windows 'System' its just 5738 but on the label on the front it has 5738Z; dose this make a difference? 

Anyway it is currently has the 3GB it came with and I read somewhere I could upgrade it to 8GB (2x 4GB modules). It also said this would be the type id need: http://goo.gl/X8CxN . I just wanted to clarify that is the right one to buy, if not what one?

Its the same machine. It can take up to 8Gig DDR3 800 or 1066Mhz. If you use 1333, there might be a possibility that the machine doesnt display.
