Projector K330 Display over USB driver virus

I am attempting to use the Display over USB function to project a copy of my PC screen.  When I enable USB display in the K330 settings, my PC Explorer can see the DO-USB launcher.exe file and driver dll which are pre-loaded in the projector partition, but my anti-virus software (ZoneAlarm and Kapersky) immediately report the virus Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.blnh in the file, and sensibly do not allow me to run it to load the driver.  This strongly suggests that the driver file provided by Acer is infected.  Has anyone encountered this, or used DO-USB successfully?

I would be happy to have someone look into this.

Please list for me specifically which file, under what operating system, that you downloaded from our Drivers site.

Re: Projector K330 Display over USB driver virus

Operating system is Windows XP Home.  When USB is enabled in the K330: Menu > settings > USB > 'On', a new remote drive, which is different from the normal RAM drive for user files, is visible in Windows Explorer.  This drive is pre-installed in, and resident in, the K330.  Drive contains Autorun.inf, DLUSB.cab, and dlusb_launcher.exe.  DLUSB.cab is a sub-dir containing several files.  When the drive is viewed in Explorer, ZoneAlarm immediately gives a virus warning, reporting DLUSB_LAUNCHER.EXE with virus Net-Worm.Wn32.Kolab.blnh, and prevents Display-over-USB from working.  A screen-shot is available if it helps.

Sorry, can't find how to load an image.  I don't have a gallery, and Insert into message only allows URL images, not local browsing ...?

On the toolbar for the editor, there are link, image, and video icons.

Click the image icon.

In the window that appears, next to the word image, click Browse.

Locate the file to upload.

Click Open.

Click the green Insert Image at the bottom, just above the preview picture of the image.

Re: Projector K330 Display over USB driver virus

I'm still sorry, but the insert image (tree) icon only opens a window with boxes for Image URL, Image Description, alignment, dimensions etc.  There is only one tab and no local browse option....

OK, that's fine.  I'll just forward the information AS IS.

[ Editado ]

A unit was tried with a current version and found no problems.

ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall version: 11.0.000.057

Vsmon version: 11.0.000.057

Driver version:11.0.000.026

Antivirus engine version: 8.3.0.13

Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1093756192

Web Identity Protections version: 1.5.393.22

We would suggest ensuring that the system is completely up to date with all DAT files for ZoneAlarm.

This is looking like a false positive.
