Hello,

Just bought this laptop 2 days ago. at first I could easily connect to the internet using wifi, then, for some reason, it just stopped working. Right now I cannot connect to my router using wifi, thought it might be a problem with my router, used anoter device to connect to it and, obviously had no problem doing so. Also browsing this forum noticed that a lot of people have the same problem. My laptop is running windows 8 64bit(the latest one). Obviously tried downloading latest drivers. Internet is only working when i plug in router directly to the laptop. help me, please.

Does it mean that it's Atheros adapter's fault?

May be your wifi adapter is off, try this method     network and sharing>Change adapter setings>Enable Wireless Network Connection It may work

I just bought a V5-112P yesterday with the same problem. It looks like i can only connect it to my 3G network teetering with my mobile phone. Have you manage to solve the issue with your router?

If you have solved it, do you mind sharing with me the guides please?
