Merry XMas to all. I have an old laptop Aspire 3003LCi. When I am trying to use the video call for Skype, the main Skype screen turns into "noise" although when the connection is made, I am able to see a smaller window of the caller as well as a normal insert window of me. The "noise" still is visible behind these windows. Also, if I am viewing YouTube, the larger screens turn into "noise;" the smaller screens are fine. I tried searching for an update to the original video drivers, but no such animal exists. Any thoughts? Ron in Tucson, AZ

Hi RONGOOD1
Merry Christmas to you too!
The Aspire 3003LCi was a budget laptop & it sounds as if the graphics chip isn't capable. The only thing you could really do is change the resolution on the screen to see if it helps. Not practical every time you want to use Skype or Youtube!
As it is an old model, you may try to reinstall Windows from scratch to see if this will help, but I think it is just an "age" thing.
