Here's the problem guys.
I bought an Aspire v3 571g 1 month ago. Since the beginning I had a big issue with the wifi card. Every few minutes and my connection just dropped (I read on the internet that happens a lot with this model).
I contacted the assistance. they told me to install a patch (200MB) but the problem was still there. After 4 days I sent them my pc.
After 3 weeks (today), they gave it back to me (with the Wifi card replaced and the BIOS updated). Now instead of a dropping connection, I have an big lag problem. Everytime I try to play any online game or I watch the streaming my connection is slow and freeze because of the lagg.
I have 3 other PCs in my house and in none of them I have this problem.
The modem is quite close to the pc so it's not a problem of distance (moreover when I use any other pc I dont have any lagg issue). When I use the ethernet I dont have any problem.
Can you give me some advice? What should I do?

I have the same laptop and have been dealing with the very same issue, however my wifi stops dropping if I am about 3 feet from the router.
Some have suggested wifi interference but I have yet to find a solution.

Yes I found a lot of cases like this in Internet. Today I sent it again to the assistance but if they replaced the wifi card, updated the BIOS etc etc I guess it's not a problem related to the single piece but to the software, maybe it's not compatible with the wifi. I have no idea and they just don't give a single ******

Try this:
1. Uninstall wireless drivers
2. Restart your laptop.
3. go to Acer Support (Drivers) and download Broadcom Wireless Driver & install it after that restart
if the problem still exists you can uninstall broadcom wireless lan and download and install the Atheros version try it out ![]()
Cheers!
