I have an Acer Aspire 5534, I'm getting an icon that says "plugged in, not charging".
I've tried several online remedies, but none have worked...
Use a multimeter to see if your charger's output is the required dc voltage. If not, buy a new charger. If charger output is good, have a look at a new battery.
Plugged in, but not charging. Why not?? This is a pandemic in the Acer world with so many people complaining about the same issue, why does'nt Acer address this better than thier doing nothing. Everyone is frustrated and Acer is nowhere to be found when t comes to ths particular problem. I guess it is becuase only people who have installed Windows 7 where Vista was need help on this. I bought Acer 9410 laptop 2nd hand cheap. Thank God I did not sped big money on a new Acer model now that I have seen how feeble ther support website is.It seem like they have abandoned it! It is truly Ghetto status and I am ashamed for them. Acer??? You've got to be kidding. Hueey!!!
