When it comes to computers i actually don't understand anything , and right now i have a real problem that bothers me , i have a program called driver booster which update my drivers automically when an update occures and lately it updated my realteck sound driver and after the installation was finished suddenly my dolby home theater icon on toolbar was gone so i searched for '' dolby '' on the start toolbar and when i found it and oepened it , it told me this : The current Dolby audio driver version is 7.2.8000.17 and the softwar application expects driver version 7.2.7000.7. Please install a valid driver and software application combination .

What does that mean and what exactly to do in order to fix it , i need a step by step support cause i really don't understand much about pc . Sorry for my bad english and thanks for the help ...

We do not support "driver booster".

All Acer drivers are available on the Drivers page for your region.

I would suggest restoring the system to factory defaults and not using "driver booster".

    Hello,

Don't trust "driver booster" software from IObit. It won't work as your expectation. Please following the following steps to fix this problem:

    1. Right click My computer -> Select Properties

    2. Click "Advanced System Settings"

    3. Click "Hardware" tab -> Click "Device Manager"

    4. Click "Sound, video and game controller"

    5. Right-click on "Realtek High Defination Audio" -> Select "Properties" ( I don't know what is your laptop model, so I supposed your laptop has Realtek audio hardware)

    6. Click "Driver"

    7. Click "Roll back driver"

    8. Reboot your computer.

    That's it.
