Permanently disable the backlighting on the S7 keyboard?

I'd like to permanently disable the backlighting. Is that possible? I can disable it temporarily but on reboot, it's back to normal. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to disable the backlight permanently. Check in the BIOS and see if there is a setting.

Check if there is a function key combination to disable the keyboard back light.

Fn + F9
