Hello. I purchased the Acer Aspire E1-522-3442 from emachines for my sister.
I was trying to set it up for her as she is new to computers. However, the Windows 8 threw me for a loop.
But the worst part, I have no idea what password and username I chose. I put her email to register it but she's not able to reset it. I have all the paperwork/receipt, etc.
I just need to speak to a representative and find out how to get back in? She spoke to Acer in India and they wanted a one time fee of 175 to walk her through the steps.
Is there no one in Acer that can please walk us through?
