I used the acer recovery disc for my notebook and it restored my computer. Now it shutsdown & restarts after 1min

It's possible that it didn't install correctly. I would check for smudges or scratches on the discs and then try using them again. You could also try restoring default settings in your bios as this has been known to fix similar problems on quite a few devices.

F12 on power on to enter bios, F9 for defaults. F10 to save.
