Hey guys, i need help please.

I have recently bought a new battery for my ACER ASPIRE 5738PG since the old one was dead, and now it says no battery is detected, the red LED is constantly flashing and when i unplug my charger, my laptop instantly shuts down.

Hi,

Step 1:

Remove the charger and the battery from your laptop. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Step 2:

Go to BIOS screen (Tap F2 after the acer logo appears to bring the BIOS).

Press F9 and Enter

Press F10 and Enter

I hope your issue will be resolved after performing the above troubleshooting steps.

I have just encountered this problem. I installed replacement battery a few months ago which worked fine until last night when no battery is detected appeared.

I tried Acer-Khan's suggestion but sadly didn't work.

Anyone had any success in resolving this issue?
