Does this model work with Aspire s7-392?
If not, where is correct one?
If not now, when?

If you click on "Support" on the link you gave, you will see a list of models that suppport that cable. Only Aspire V5's are listed.
The Acer Store only sells one cable for your model, and I don't think that it is what you're looking for: http://store.acer.com/store/acerna/DisplayCategory
On the other hand, there is some overlap with cables. I would take your laptop to a computer store and see what they have.

Thanks for the reply, Vince!
But I am looking for the Acer LAN + VGA combo cable avaiable for other models.
Unfortunately, this new Acer S7-392 model has a dedicated "Acer Converter Port" for this function, which is unique to Acer. It "connects to the Acer Converter cable, allowing for easy connection to a LAN, an external display or an additional USB device."
Amaaaazing to me that Acer adds this unique - and otherwise useless - port for this function, BUT NO LAN/VGA COMBO CABLE. Really compromises the global utility of such an otherwise powerful PC.

Thanks for you reply!
Yes, the linked product - Acer Mini CP to VGA Converter - is not the combo VGA/ LAN cable I'm seeking.
Plus since the "Acer Converter Port" is unique to Acer, is 25% of only 4 ports on this model, and otherwise useless for any other maker's adapters, cables, dongles, it really compromises the basic capacity to connect to high-speed LAN and limits the global utility of such an otherwise powerful PC.
And ACER executives are NOT willing to do a thing about it, so I'm spreding the word about this major CON on this model.

I agree. As far as I know, it isn't possible to connect this laptop via ethernet except through a USB ethernet dongle. But I don't believe that will work for some needs, such as Wake-On-LAN. I believe this model has a Wake-On-LAN capable chipset and motherboard, but I don't see how it is possible to use Wake-On-LAN at all, because there is no direct ethernet connection possible, except through the Proprietary port, and Acer doesn't have a cable that works with their proprietary port ??

Yes, this does appear to be new, at least as far as associating it with the S7-392. A few days ago, the only cable listed as an accessory for the S7-392 was the VGA only adapter and the power adapter. So it is good to see that Acer now says this multifunction cable will also work with the S7-392.
However, I would have preferred an option to have just a LAN only cable, or just a USB only cable, rather than the entire VGA/LAN/USB combo at a cost of $35. But at least we have something that should work.
Also, it would be nice to have some tech specs too. So far, the only tech spec listed is "Color, Black, 1yr Warranty". Not very helpful. How about some real specs, e.g., Does this device do all three interfaces simultaneously, or just one at a time? Is associated Acer software supplied/required? What speed ethernet is supported? Is it USB-2 or USB-3 compatible? I couldn't find any information about this device in the knowledge base or elsewhere.
