I need an update BIOS which supports AGESA 1.2.7.1 both of listed BIOSES on your website contains AGESA 1.1.

Model Aspire V-3-551G-8454 using Windows 7 64-bit.

Thank you for posting.

Presently, the only BIOS available are those you have seen on the drivers page. 

I have forwarded the request to the appropriate department.  I cannot guarantee that we will be able to update the BIOS to accomodate your request.

I will post again once I have an answer.

Unfortunately, we will not be updating the BIOS to new AGESA microcode.

And herein lies the problem with Acer, it used to be a great company for laptops 5 years ago, but went downhill.  You rarely provide updates to the software for your laptops, questions on the forum go unanswerd*, or if you do answer, you only answer people who you've helped before, and if someone bumps their topic back to the top, you delete the post...tonnes of forums allow bumping your topic back to the top to get an answer if a long period of time has passed and no one answered!
