If you've used the recovery partition or disks, then it will not need validating. All Acer PC's a pre-validated.

If you've upgraded to Windows 7, using a retail disk, you need to contact Microsoft, not Acer. Click Start and type in the search box :

SLUI 4

Then click on the result. Select your country from the drop down box, then click Next. This will give you the phone number you require.
