My Aspire one works better after it gets hot. Sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes or more.

When I start up my Acer Aspire, I can't use it for several minutes. It doesn't work well until it gets hot, someimtess10 minutes. This is fairly new behavior. How can I change this? I had added new software, but removed it hoping to solve the problem.
