I bought a brand new Acer Aspire 5560-8480 laptop in late may early june 2012 and installed McAfee Internet Security Suite the same day and haven't had any problems with it. But around Dec 2012 it started freezing up. It used to do it every few days or so but it's gotten up to 2-4 times A DAY. I tried going to safe mode to diagnose the problem and couldn't find anything so I adjusted the troubleshoot settings and it's now down to ONCE A DAY. According to McAfee I don't have any threats or viruses on my computer so I don't know what to do at this point. PLEASE HELP!!!

Is your Windows up to date. Run HDD test and mem test by seatools and memtest86 respectively.
