Hi, I just an Aspire V5-122P and would like to upgrade memory to 6GB. Now,it has only one slot with a 4gb. Acer says it supports 6gb. Who sells sells 6gb RAM?

I believe your model has 4GB of RAM as standard. This would be comprised of 2GB permanently soldered to your motherboard and a 2GB stick in the one available slot. To reach the max installable RAM, you would replace the 2GB stick with a 4GB one.

2 GB is with the Motherboard, you cannot separate. The Remaining 2GB is the DDR3 120pin card you have, This 2 GB you can replace with a 4 GB or 8GB. Amazon.com has that memory/RAM
Go to www.Crucial.com and run the Scanner S/W to find what max you can add.
This is what I found for my V5-122p-0600 model
"Crucial 8GB Single 8GB DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11 SODIMM 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Notebook Memory CT102464BF160B"
You can have 4GB RAM too. so 2GM on MB + 4GB = total 6 GB
