Mpaterson, I can understand why you would want to buy that well-built, mid-priced monster--after looking it up, I'd like one myself.
But this American-made laptop requires parts that are not made in European factories. Should you have a hardware problem, a British computer shop would have to pay extra to import the parts you need.
But don't depair. In researching people's questions, I find a lot of well-made UK Acer laptops. This site http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/home even has a section to help you find a laptop that is right for you.

I'm afraid that the gtx760 is a video card designed for high-performance. A few months ago, it sold for $250 US. But if you're planning to play high-end games, I would advise you to buy a desktop. It will run cooler and last much longer and will be easier to upgrade. And you will get a more powerful machine for the same amount of money.
If you're not planning to play high-end games, I would use the money to buy a laptop that is better in other areas.
