I'm not seeing a bluetooth or webcam device in my device manager. The only update I have installed is the WiFi update that the Acer Update Manager recommended. This is annoying me enough that I'm going to consider returning this machine this weekend.

Same Issue here.
All of a sudden the camera is just.. gone.
Model S7-391 over stock win8.
Shall we all recall the price we paid for those?

There is a solution that SOMETIMES works in Windows 8. Go to the Start Page, and instead of Acer Eye, start Camera and see if that works.
When you select Acer Eye, does it do anything? It is possible that you deleted the Acer Eye program, but it can be downloaded free off the internet.

Same problem. Loaded latest drivers, reset bios, loaded atest bio. No solution with Tech support.
Finally saw a post on using WIndows troubleshooting and that worked!! I dont recall the steps but ru under control panel- hw devices the windows troubeshooting wizard. It found a USB driver issue. Once thaty was fixed everything now works.

Oh wow, THANK YOU!!! After a lot of searches and one unnessasary re-install, the problem turned out to be a very easy fix. Go to your start and search for "Troubleshooting" --> Hardware and Sound --> Hardware and Devices (Find and fix problems with devices and hardware) and go through the Troubleshoot. It was a set of USB chips that got turned off. Now both my bluetooth and camera are back.
