How to replace the hard drive in an Aspire AX1301

The original Seagate 750GB disk installed in my computer has failed. I have a new WD Black disk on which I'd like to install Windows 7. Other computer manufacturers allow you to chose/set the boot device. How can I do that on this computer?

Thanks.

Re: How to replace the hard drive in an Aspire AX1301

1. Take the 2 screws out of the side cover (Panel).

2. Take off the front face plate.

3. unscrew the 2 screws on the bracket.

4. slide the bracket up and pull off wires.

Your done the reverse order to re-install. if you need pictures reply back.
