How to import duplicate versions of older pictures?

I know that usually Windows detects the newest pictures and doesn't import duplicate versions of older pictures that you've already copied to your computer. But I deleted the pictures off of my computer and now want to import them again. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? Thanks.
