I downloaded bios 1.26 for acer 7741g and want to flash it.

When I extract it, I get 2 folders, one is DOS and one is WINFLASH, when I enter DOS folder it shows BIOS and KBC folders and a DOSFLASH.bat ...when I enter BIOS folder, it shows 5 files - ACERACD.exe, bios.bat, JE70126.ROM, JE70126.WPH and phlash16.exe.

I have no idea what I have to rename and copy from all this to my usb to get it to work.

My laptop is suffering from a black screen of death, so only usb option is available for me. Nothing else works.

why do you think BIOS flash is going to help?  where you find this information

I fixed my laptop, gpu had to be repaired. I didn't flash bios, but I've read about it and saw it on youtube.
