Check the specifications of the specific unit you bought and see if the memory is upgradable.

Visit the acer support sites i.e. http://acer.custhelp.com/app/ searching for memory upgrade.

If your unit is under warranty call the acer support site of your region. http://www.acer.com/worldwide/

I think support misunderstood your question...they gave you info on adding RAM to your computer.   What you are requiring is adding memmory to your email so you have more room for your email attachments.
