I recently bought a V193W monitor for Windows XP. While I am quite pleased with it, I do have one problem. The horizontal view is slightly wider than the vertical view. The example I’ll use is from a map that is overlaid with a square grid. Instead of showing a perfect square what I see is a rectangle. I believe the squares should measure 6.4 X 6.4 centimeters. What I have is 6.4 X 7.7 cms. The bottom line is the monitor should show a perfect square. See if it shows up this way on your monitor, please.

If it doesn’t show up this way for you, I can send you a screen shot.
I’ve gone through the adjustments on the monitor, but I don’t see one where I can either shrink the horizontal or increase the vertical. What should I do to fix this?
Thanks,
Ryan

"If it doesn’t show up this way for you, I can send you a screen shot."
That is to say as a rectangle. If you see them as squares, then I need to know the adjustment. The screen shot I can send shows them at 6.4 X 7.7 cms.

There is one more screenshot at the above link taken with the old monitor. The units on the map are squares with rounded corners. Those corners are from the game and aren't of concern here.
Edit: I added one more screenshot of the map itself using the old monitor att the link above. "squares".
