Hello fellow members, I need your help in restoring all the default ‘Acer Aspire 5942g’ programs/software’s running Windows 7.

It’s fairly a new laptop I never used for more than 2 months since I purchased it, but the guarantee has run out. The PC was giving me hell of problems, so I recently took it to the repair store and they said it was the ‘Hard Disk’ that MUST be changed. They changed it but could not get any of the Acer Aspire 5942g programs/software’s on the PC.

I bought a system restore Disk online and got the PC default hardware software’s/programs that came with the PC back. But NONE of Acer Aspire programs is working/accessible on my PC.

The ‘Webcam’, eRecovery Management, eDataSecurity, eAudio, and every other program that usually come with Acer PCs.

I’ve tried ‘System Restore’ using the ‘Alt + F10’ keys, but it won’t solve the problem.

I don’t have system restore CD or DVDs (the PC never let me run them from the first day  I  purchased it). My fault, I would have sent it back to them while it still had factory guarantee.

Does anyone know or have the DIRECT link to where I can download and restore all the default Acer programs for this model?

Your help would be highly appreciated.

If you have changed the HDD, the recovery partition will no longer be available.  You will be required to use the recovery media that you made or purchased to restore the factory load to the system.

Not every Acer system has the same programs installed, it definately does vary by model.

It is usually not possible to download ALL of the programs that we ship on our systems, as some are only available on the initial factory load or upon recovery with the same.  The remainder are available on our Drivers page.
