My H233H monitor displays briefly for a couple of seconds when it first talks to my Mac Powerbook, then blacks out.
It has served well for around 5 years, now out of warranty. I am moving across country in a few days, need to decide quickly if there is any hope for repair or if it has reached the end of its natural life and I should not bother to ship it, buy a new one after the move.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your H233H monitor.
In the United States, we are not providing out of warranty monitor repair.
The cost to repair a monitor is more than the cost to replace a monitor.
Best wishes for your move.

I suggest that 5 year old monitors is best left to be replaced rather than repaired.
