Frustrated that I can't get a adapter for Japan to go onto my acer

I currently live in Australia and have attempted to get an adapter for both my son's and my note book have had 2 very frustrating conversations with acers new company who deal with acer parts. Yes I know that I can get a separate travel adapter that is universal however these are bulky and I am just wanting to use the one plug. does anyone know how I can purchase one in Australia
