I have noticed that lots of members have had problems getting into the BIOS of their systems as pressing  F2 or F12 at boot had no effect. I have posted 2 queries  on here with the same problem but no-one came back with a cure.

I have an ACER V5-571P with the 2.17 version of the BIOS.To resolve the problem all I did was to re-flash the  BIOS using the download available from Acer Support. (Run the .exe file)

F2 and F12 now get me to the BIOS settings and ALT-F10 takes me to the recovery options.

Why is it that with all the expertise on here, nobody could suggest such a simple answer?
