I'm trying to plug my Chromebook c710-2847 to an older tv, like the square heavy ones from the 90s. It doesn't have VGA or HDMI, it has Red-White-Yellow, S-Video, & HDMI. The laptop only has HDMI and VGA. So what are my options here?
I also have a Direct TV box that is plugged into my TV. The Direct TV box has a HDMI Output, RGB, and USB. Don't know if the Direct TV box will be of any help, but I just figured that it may be of some sort of help here.
Any help here is greatly appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time.

you will need something like this to do RCA (red white yellow conectors to VGA because it needs to be converted)
if you have RGB (red green blue) then this will work
just wondering if the tv has hdmi then why dont you just get an HDMI cable?
"it has Red-White-Yellow, S-Video, & HDMI. The laptop only has HDMI and VGA."
