i have no program for burning movies 

i have to go in computer than click on my dvd drive then click burn when it burns my videos they dont show in any dvd players

wi fi connects show up with they feel like i have to use the yellow cord and connect it to the modem smh

what am i suppose to use to burn my movies i was told by the sales guy this was the best pc for burning stuff smh

windows 8 is really crappy 

i only got 679 gb not 750 gb i was told it has thats before anything was instaled on my laptop

Realistically there isn't a "best" computer for burning movies. You have plenty of hard disk space and you have a dvd burner, but burning movies is still illegal for the most part. You think Microsoft is going to provide you with the software needed to do it? Furthermore, we can't tell you how to do it either. If you're looking to burn dvd data files I use power iso. You could in theory use it to burn downloaded movie files to disk as well.

If you're looking to copy dvd's then google is your new best friend.

so its illegal to burn my own personal home videos of my family last i checked that wasnot illegal i was told i could burn my own personal videos if i wanted to waste money buying a software program i could of bought another laptop that came with its own software

Then go grab a copy of poweriso or just use windows media player. It's a computer, not a car. Adding software is two clicks away. If you're really that concerned about buying another unit that came with it already then you might as well just return the thing.

poweriso didnot work i it wouldnot show the video after i burnt it it said unknown disc in dvd plyer but it showed in the pc

When you burn a home movie to a disc that does not mean it will play in a standalone DVD player.

Movies are encoded with various pieces of software which are not compatible with "everything". 

You can take your disc and put it into another computer, you will see the movie plays fine (provided you have the right codec pack installed).

Nero was my favourite for home movie burning, this costs money of course but anything worth having costs money.  You will see there are many movie formats you can burn it as, you will need to choose the option which works on your DVD player and this normally comes down to trial and error.

Nothing is straight forwards when it comes to burning movies.
