Drag and drop across multiple touch screens

I just purchased an Acer all-in-one touch screen PC and an Acer touch screen monitor. I have them set up in extended mode. Using my mouse I am able to drag windows between the screens. However, using touch I am only able to drag the windows until my finger reaches the edge of the PC's screen. I am not able to continue dragging the windows on the monitor. I am able to operate the controls within the windows by touch on the monitor: I just can't drag it by touch. I am the IT manager in my company and I purchased this to evaluate using touch screens in the company. Hopefully there is a simple solution to this issue.

I'm going to need to know the model numbers for both the desktop and monitor.

What OS are you running on the desktop?

What have you attempted to do to rectify the issue?

Desktop: Acer Aspire 5600U (5600U-UB13)

Monitor: Acer T232HL

Windows 8

Desktop Monitor

HDMI OUT ---------- HDMI

USB ------------------- USB

SPDIF ----------------- AUDIO IN

I am new to Windows 8 and touch screens so I have not attempted to make changes to system settings. Hopefully I have given you the information you need to resolve this issue.

After some testing of this configuration it has been determined that this is a limitation of current hardware.

Touch appears to be drag and drop compatible on one display only.

I'm sorry that I was unable to give you a better resolution for your desired usage of the systems.
