Decided to post here my problem as well..maybe someone can help...
i got V5 571g few weeks ago and i had trouble playing games on it,they were stuttering as hell and finally today i found the solution! The problem was dolby digital that came with my laptop, once i disable it all problems go away...but another problem comes up..the speakers are so low, that they make no point at all without that *Dolby Digital* application.
How can i solve this problem?

Other than completely restoring your system to factory defaults, you may try loading the latest Audio driver for your system. All downloads available for your computer will be posted at http://www.acer.com, click on Support, then click Drivers and Manuals.
Important Links: US Driver Downloads | Knowledge Base Articles | Service Locations
Remember to mark posts that resolved your issue with Accept as Solution.
You can even mark multiple posts in a single thread. This will make it easier for others to find the same information.

Try to reinstall Audio driver (Dolby embedded). Open Acer Recovery Management => Reinstall Drivers or Applications => Install Audio Codec => follow instructions and restart.
