If you want dual display via VGA and DVI, that is also also CPU based. If you want to display only via DVI, that is a plug and play and should display with no problems. If you are not getting display, have you tested another DVI cable?
Also note that the DVI's are different..See pics on the link below. You might need to get a different DVI Cable.

Unfortunately, thru DVI port alone, it cant be detected thou used appropriate connections (i.e. adaptor or cable itself). do i have to update the bios so it could be detected or the dvi port itself is busted? thanks in advance.
