The project must be to the advantage of the Chromebook manufacturer , purchasers or both? With a bit of presumption , I like to think I understand the reasons and hopes of Google, to support and launch its Chrome operating system . If the notebook built to support this project were free to end users , I would have nothing to say and not made one breath ... but if you ask me to pay, then I have a right to speak my opinion! Why can not we win together , manufacturer and purchaser ? Why a product must be designed and intended to be castrated and closed, in order to crush the customers at an unmovable plan ? Personally , I would be much happier and in a good mood , to test the Chrome OS , if my notebook would allow me to upgrade the RAM and if I could , with great ease and with my own money , buy a new SSD install on channel SATA III and not on ancient SATA II. I am no longer a kid and I do not exclude to be among the older readers of this swap space. This allows me, as the only thing, to be able to tell and say that I have never seen a project become successful , as it is only one of the parties to win! It has the courage to make bold choices ! Itself with the machines of the project Chromebook, power and above all freedom ... in this process, users will appreciate even more innovations and the change of pace of the operating system chrome . Users , especially those more experienced and more penetrated in electronics, would love such an approach.
